As I run the .msi package, it says that it can\'t find the value for BOINC installation in registry and says something about MANUAL install.
Ok.
Fine.

But then it dies with error 1327: invalid drive C:\\
Yes, it happens so my computer has NO drive C:, but that surely isn\'t a reason for a good installer to commit suicide..

There\'s a new version due very soon. I suggest waiting for that though I don\'t promise that it will solve this one. I don\'t have C: as a system drive and I don\'t recall a problem when installing.

The problem: I have no drive c: at all, and I think that installer is somehow forced to unpack its files to c: before asking anything about installation directory.

P.S. Maybe you have a non-msi manual installer package, .zip or something like?
