This morning my computer would not power up; I had to reset system BIOS to get it working. Now that I got the computer up again, the system clock had reset itself to Feb,2002. BOINC showed all my projects as being way past due (due date: 12/13/1901); um, something tells me these projects haven\'t been around for 104 years. So, I had to detach projects, after which, Climateprediction will not update. Messages say: \"Note: not requesting new work or reporting results.\" How do I update after a project reset? |

That Note in Messages Tab typically accompanies another line that says a Trickle is being sent. When CPDN restarts it calls home as a metter of course. With all the crazy dates, boinc may be working feverishly to meet earliest deadlines first. CPDN, in that case, will likely be the last to get attention. Until it\'s sorted, it would be useful to inhibit new work from all your attached Projects (third option bar under Projects Tab [click each project and then click that option, in turn]). What other lines for CPDN restart accompany the one you posted? (Alone, it isn\'t much help.) With no CPDN credits logged, how far had the Model progressed before zapping the BIOS? What caused the computer malfunction? Seriously overclocked? If so, expect \"-5\" failures with CPDN. Edit: By the way, your header mentions project reset but the post mentions computer reset. I\'m assuming you didn\'t reset any projects. Please advise if that isn\'t correct.
