Running CP.net I get in one night up to 6 messages titled with \"Visual Fortran Error\". It only occurs with CP.net using BOINC, other BOINC-projects have no problems.
BOINC-messages show \"Uncoverable error-result for sulphur_eax3_000667335_0[...]<error_code>-161</error-code>[...]\"
[Computer 255916]
Maybe this will help you, debugging CP.net. My client doesn\'t compute anymore, I won\'t update it for 2 weeks;)

CPDN no longer works on Win98, and there is only a slim chance that this OS will be considered in the future, as the project is moving to bigger, longer, slower, experiment 2.
The programmers are having a hard time getting the atmosphere part to work reliably with the ocean part. And this is with Win XP, and Linux. They\'ve lost the battle with Macs, but have recently acquired a G5, so they will be having another go at that.

However, Win98 DOES still work with classic cpdn. Which will mean that you can\'t run other projects on the same machines.
Or you could switch to Linux.

I\'m afraid that you will not be able to run climateprediction in BOINC if you have Win98. The classic version does run under that OS.

EDIT - SNAP!

Well I already have some Linux-machines, but for some tasks I still need windows ;(
I don\'t like newer Windows-version, even if Win \'XPeriment would run fluently.......

Thanks for the fast support!!

Well, its been nice (not), and its been real (not), but I\'ve left. The no Win98SE is a deal breaker.
