Hi. I have lost all info regarding my global BOINC account, and all my BOINC projects: the email I registered with, the associated password, and my account keys. The one thing I managed to find is my CPDN account key, which is why I am here ;-) I cannot login to any other project site :-/ I still have the BOINC client running on one PC... Can I get that info off of it ? Thanks in advance for any help olivierbarthel-div@yahoo.com |

In the BOINC folder are some xml files with most of the info. account_climateprediction.net has a line near the top between 2 \"authenticator\"s. This is your account key. client_state has various stings, which should I think, include all of your projects. e.g. the cpid. I only run cpdn, so I can\'t help further, but if you look through this file, you should find a fair bit. Passwords are a different matter. You may have to do a \"change password\" on each site. You can get the urls for projects <a href=\"http://boinc.berkeley.edu/\"> here</a> on the Berkeley front page. Once you have taken a few deep breaths and recovered, write down what you can find. If you need more help, there\'s always someone around. Good luck. |
