Hi: I tried to install Boinc 5.2.13 and could not get any of my projects to work. -- so I deceided to go back to Boinc 4.45. I did, but all tabs are blank. I tried to run benchmarks, and even that, did not work. I need H E L P !!!  |

The 5.2.x versions create a gui_rpc_auth.cfg file if one does not exist. This stores a password for accessing the daemon. That may be getting in the way. I really advise trying the 5.2.13 version again though, 4.45 has some problems with CPDN. BOINC WIKI   BOINCing since 2002/12/8 |

OK I reinstalled Boinc 5.2.13 and tried to attach to CPDN I enter the URL and then select existing account and enter my email address and password. A few minutes later it comes back Failed to attach to project. The gui_rpc_auth.cfg file exists in my boinc directory. What should be in it? What should I try next? |

The password you are using, did you get from updating password on your accts page????? If you did not go there and update your password....  BOINC Wiki
