I seem to have 2 copies of the BOINC manager running, each with their own icon in the systray. The BOINC manager connected to localhost appears to be doing some work, running the sulfur cycle program. Is the other manager just an artefact or has something gone wrong ? regards dave Langstaff |

The BOINC core client (the bit that controls which applications are run) checks that there isn\'t another instance of the program running when it starts up, and immediately exits if there is. There are 2 possibilities:
