I am running Boinc on my notebook computer and it shows a sulphur model running in task manager, the screen saver works, but it doe not show any projects or work being done in the BOINC Manager. I believe the model also reset recently. Any help would be appreciated. ~dig |

Your acct shows 3 Sulphur WUs 1 on which is running, you had a trickle the 19th, looks good from here... Does BOINC show anything under the work tab? Does local host show bottom right corner of BOINC?  BOINC Wiki

Does BOINC show anything under the work tab? BOINC Manager does not show anything under the work tab. Does local host show bottom right corner of BOINC? LocalHost does not show in the bottom right corner. I can see the BOINC is running from my task manager but I show no work or projects in the BOINC Manager. ~dig |

There are two parts to BOINC: boinc.exe, and boincmgr.exe BOTH should show in task manager. And not having localhost on the bottom right of the BOINC gui means that the manager is not connected to the part which does the work. Which is why you can\'t see anything in the work tab of manager. Assuming you are using BOINC 5.2.n, try: File / Select computer. Click on OK, WITHOUT putting anything in the two fields. Do you have anything in the work tab now? |
