Most likely a momentary instability in your computer.
To restart the model, you need to have a backup of the BOINC folder from before the failure.

Possible causes: overclocking, overheating, conflict with other software, slight voltage drop from marginal power supply, as well as \"etc\".
Overheating could be caused by inadaquate air flow through the box, or dust; even a small amount on the cpu heatsink can raise the temp several degrees.

Strange: quad opteron 875/ Mb: Tyan S4882 last bios/ ECC Memory ATP certified by Tyan/box: Chenbro RM519 (930W power supply)/special isolated servers room with max temp 20°C/ Max cpu temp: 42°C. no warning about hardware errors even ecc scrubbling...
