Hi, I\'d just written a witty & salient thread starter but does it show up? Noooo... So here\'s a shell of what I wrote but what evaporated into the ether... Here\'s my benchmark: 12/23/2005 4:51:28 PM||Benchmark results: 12/23/2005 4:51:28 PM|| Number of CPUs: 2 12/23/2005 4:51:28 PM|| 2587 double precision MIPS (Whetstone) per CPU 12/23/2005 4:51:28 PM|| 4827 integer MIPS (Dhrystone) per CPU I understand, CPDN was designed for the Cray Supercomputer. As Cray is not new and I have no idea of it\'s current incarnation, how does my little desktop compare with the expectations of the Cray model the software was based on? Just curious... Happy Chanuka & Merrry Christmas to all, Gary |
