Why are negative credits calculated with the user and team member \"Matze by freenet\" at a wu ended with client error?

http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/results.php?hostid=310902

Correcting please and assigning this wu one value \"0\".

Many thanks

Negative credits don\'t exist for client error.
It\'s probably a bug because you can\'t win or loose 3800 credits for 6 hours of work.
Did you see your credit drop on stat sites like Mundeyweb or Boincstat ?

I also think that it\'s a bug. Have a look at the link please, there are negative credits. Is there anyone who can settle the bug?

BOINCstats shows nothing. The negative credits are bigger than the positive credits, thats why the project does not exist for this user.

And Mundayweb, I don\'t know it, it\'s not my account.

It\'s Christmas, and no one is here.

I\'ll mention it to the project people, but it may be the new year before anything happens.

Christmas is past, the new year began, the project is back, but the negative credit stayed ...

Is there a short-run possibility to replace the negative credit of \"-3,856.31\" with \"0\" via database update?

Many thanks

I emailed Carl, who replied that both he and Tolu were VERY busy on \"the spinups & transient coupled model work (the upcoming BBC \"launch\")\". (Direct quote).

So you won\'t see anything happen until February.
Science first, then server problems, and credit problems last.

PS. Did your team member merge any computers? If so, which one(s) are the final result?
May make it easier to sort out when they DO have time.

It seems to be a BOINC client error combined with a missing validy check on the server. The PC got what it claimed for that WU.

The PC shouldn\'t have claimed negative credits and the server should have refused to grant them.

I never have seen negative claimed credits anywhere before, maybe it would be a good idea to add a bug report to the BOINC bug database at http://bbugs.axpr.net/
