I intend to rebuild my machine with a new hard disk. Do I need to do anything to save work or can I simply reinstall Boinc / CPDN and start all over with the new disk?

Thanks, Brian

The files that are needed are scattered over several folders, so it\'s best to save the lot.

Suspend BOINC and wait until it IS suspended.
Exit BOINC.
Copy entire BOINC folder to a dvd.

On new hd:
Copy BOINC back to hd.
Reset ALL files to read/write.
Start BOINC.
