Hello,
One of my pcs is quite old and I\'m expecting to have serious problems soon or later with it. So, my idea was to transfer next week 1 WU that it didn\'t start to crunch from that pc to another one. Is this possible and how can I do that ? If not, how can I \"return\" that WU to the project in a proper way so I can reformat and reinstall everything on that pc after.
Thank you for your help

ClimatePrediction allows switching to a different host and returning trickles and results from there instead of the host that received the model.

The easiest way would be, to install the same BOINC version that you used on the old PC - but without attaching to a project. After having done that, you have all registry entries BOINC needs.

Then copy everything from the old PC to the new one, confirm overwrite \"yes\" for all existing files.

While you copy the stuff, BOINC should not run on either PC.
