This has just started to happen (Windows XP Home). I am running CPDN and SETI, 50% each. The SETI WU runs without problem, but the CPDN WU has suddenly started terminating. BOINC then restarts it, whereupon it immediately terminates again. This cycle repeats indefinitely about once a second.

For the time being I have suspended CPDN. Does anybody have any idea what is causing this please? It\'s sulphur_cycle 4.22 (sulphur_fsuz_000737243_0), result ID 1442572, WU ID 945734, with 3695.63 credits so far.

Should I abandon this WU and get a new one? I\'ve been running CPDN on this PC for 9 months and never had this happen before.

p.s.: replies sometimes take their time, not everyone is checking all boards all the time

Possible, but likely not. That error manifests itself after the 24th trickle, starting the 2nd phase. Unless network access was disabled at end of phase, and the manual abort got rid of the 24th trickle? Pure speculation at this point.
