Error 161 is a red herring. The REAL error number doesn\'t appear, but you can see it near the end of yabsd.out, which is in the dataout folder of the model.
At least in Windows computers. Don\'t know about Linux.

I am having the same problem. I chanded to my BOINC directory and executed the following.

BOINC# find . -print | grep -i yabsd
./projects/www.climateprediction.net/sulphur_ieq7_100858895/yabsd.out.gz
./projects/www.climateprediction.net/sulphur_j5dn_100893435/yabsd.out.gz
./projects/www.climateprediction.net/sulphur_iebf_100858363/yabsd.out.gz
./projects/www.climateprediction.net/sulphur_i9z0_100852732/yabsd.out.gz
./projects/www.climateprediction.net/sulphur_iois_100871588/yabsd.out.gz
./projects/www.climateprediction.net/sulphur_is1q_100876158/yabsd.out.gz
./projects/www.climateprediction.net/sulphur_i7wk_100850052/yabsd.out.gz
./projects/www.climateprediction.net/sulphur_iqqc_100874452/yabsd.out.gz
./projects/www.climateprediction.net/sulphur_iq6q_100873746/yabsd.out.gz
./projects/www.climateprediction.net/sulphur_ix9c_100882912/yabsd.out.gz

I have gone through several of these files, but, being completely new at this. I haven\'t been able to find anything obvious in any of them. I am sure it is staring me in the face somewhere. Can anyond tell me where to go from here.

I didn\'t want to post an entire yabsd.out file because of their size, but I can if you want me to.

Hi, Sid, welcome to CPDN and the Boards.

If there is anything significant at all, it should be in the last several lines of the failed Run\'s yabsd.out. It might say something like \"Negative Theta\" or \"Negative pressure\"...

I executed this

www.climateprediction.net# zgrep -i negative */yabsd*
www.climateprediction.net#

and it came back with nothing.

When I first started up BOINC the proxy settings were messed up. They have been straightened out and seti has processed over 200 units. Should I just reset climateprediction.net and see if things work??

All of my recent climateprediction sulphur models have been failing lately with error # -161. I look at the most recent one, and do not get \"Negative\" anything, but lots of \"negative\" stuff, all like this:

QT_POS : Mass weighted QT summed over level 18
was negative. WARNING: QT not conserved

As it turns out, these are not \"near\" the end of the file. The end looks like this (work unit # 1140538, result id # 1742911):
