I have been having the problem that others have reported about fatal errors at the first trickle, but now I notice something else strange. According to task manager, there are two processes running sulphur_um_4.22_windows_intelx86.exe. One of these two processes still runs when climateprediction.net is preempted. When climateprediction.net is running, the two processes split each get about 50%.

I only have one processor and it does not support hyperthreading. I am runnng BOINC 5.2.13

The process that continues when cpdn is pre-empted, is most likely a left over from one of the crashes.
A suspend, power off/on may kill it, or wait until you get it by itself so that you know which one it is, then kill it manually.
