This is probably a total newbie question, but...
I ran this program last year, and then had to erase it. I don\'t think I did it right. I tried to reinstall it and Windows Installer keeps telling me it can\'t install the program because it keeps finding an old copy of the program. I can\'t find any other boinc or climateprediction files anywhere on my PC Dell/Windows XP. Help.......

You may want to try to install an old version of boinc from

http://boinc.berkeley.edu/dl/

maybe 4.19 for Windows. If that is successful, then uninstall it and install the new version.

If that doesn\'t work, there may have to be registry editing.
