I dont look at the visualisation much but recently I was showing the application to someone and I found that the visualisation with clouds/snow cover now surrounds a hollow ball with no Earth inside? When I turn on the starfield I can see the stars on the other side of Earth. All the other options, temp, pressure precipitation are OK Did something change? Did I do it? |

Have you perhaps changed your video driver recently? If that\'s not it, you may have luck shutting it down, rebooting, and trying again. |

I do believe that showing/hiding the globe is one of the visualisation options, though I haven\'t tried it... Have a look and see if you can turn it back on in the visualiser. One of the function keys if I remember rightly. <img src="http://boinc.mundayweb.com/one/stats.php?userID=444&trans=off"> |

If it is the new video driver then what can I do? Assuming that the cloud/snow visualization worked OK previously, and that you had updated your video driver since then, you could either update it again (if a new version exists), or revert to a previous version. I\'m not sure what video card you have, but ATI and Nvidia have links off their driver download web pages that allow you download older versions of the drivers. Video card chipset manufacturers produce updated drivers to recognize new cards, add features, improve performance and/or fix bugs. Unfortunately, sometimes new bugs are introduced. |
