my computer reports having a client error? so A)whats a client error?
then i have more specific results my model number was sulphur_ghkh_000769265_0 result ID 1474958
but then when i look at the work unit i get:
application Sulphur Cycle Experiment
created 9 Dec 2005 20:59:06 UTC
name sulphur_ghkh_000769265
errors Too many total results

the error looks to be this but whats going on?
stderr out:
<core_client_version>5.2.13</core_client_version>
<message><file_xfer_error>
<file_name>sulphur_ghkh_000769265_0_2.zip</file_name>
<error_code>-161</error_code>
<error_message></error_message>
</file_xfer_error>
<file_xfer_error>
<file_name>sulphur_ghkh_000769265_0_3.zip</file_name>
<error_code>-161</error_code>

From the explanations at the top of the column above \'client error\':
Client error The result was sent to a client and an error occurred.

Basically, the science application, which is VERY complex, ran into a problem, and the model crashed.

errors Too many total results
I THINK this is just a software confusion with other projects, which have a quorum of 3 or 4 runs of the same data.
Here, there is only one run at a time, but lots of trickles from a given model, which the sofware can\'t handle, and it gives an error.
You can ignore this piece of data.

I\'ve explained the error 161 etc in the other thread, to which you have posted.

Also explained was about useful data from the first phase zip upload.
On your model page, you can see a simplified copy of the results by clicking on the two graphs. By simplified, I mean that we only get to see a small amount of the data sent back to the researchers.
So, you produced something worthwhile, although it could have been better, if the model had completed.

Don\'t feel too bad about it though. There was a bad batch of data sets created, which caused the models to fail after trickle 24, just as yours did.

I hope that you have better luck with your next model. :)

just to recap and understand from what you know of the situation. I just ran into a problem with that model and it would be fine to start a new one and that wouldnt likely have the same problems?

i know that you cannot guarantee but i see that you definatly know what your talking about so thanks for your input.

Tricky. It shouldn\'t have the same problem, but \'bad\' batches of data sets are generated now and then. (I don\'t know why this happens.)
However, other problems do occur; frequently, judging by the tales of woe on these boards.

The next experiment in the project will be starting soon. Where soon is an unknown quantity. So, if you strike trouble with sulphur, hang around.
