I am changing computers. How do I change Boinc to run on the new computer?

First thing you need to do is stop BOINC.

If you have a network connection between the systems copy the whole BOINC structure over to where you want it go on the new system and install the same version of BOINC to that location (it leaves all the project and configuration data intact).

If you don\'t have a network connection you\'ll have to backup the BOINC structure. If you\'re using CD or DVD the restore on the new system will be easier if you zip the structure first (otherwise you\'ll need to remove the read-only attribute on everything after restoring it). Restore to the new system and install the same version of BOINC.
