I checked the moemry usage when I suspend ans when I run BOINC. The difference is around 62 MB. That\'s a lot when running Windows XP with 256 MB SDRAM, and the system gets slower when I run climateprediction models dur to swapping. Is this memory usage normal? Can it be tuned down? ---------------------------------------- English / Thai Translation Services |

256M is bare minmum for DC projects. For cpdn, you really need 512M min. It\'s a BIG program, and very memory hungry. |

just look in task manager under processes, you will see that a sulphur model uses about that much memory I have run XP with 256 of ram it is excruciatingly slow as XP is running to the page file all the time, you must be a very patient person............................ |
