Hello, I am running a P4 2.6 ghz that is hyperthreaded and realized the cruncher was using only 50% of the cpu. Will it eventually use all cpu power when I leave the computer idle? I tried setting my preferences to use multiprocessors with a value of 2 and it started another cruncher and both used total of 99% of cpu. I just hope it uses all the cpu power while the PC is idle so it don\'t go to waste.

It will use all that is not used by other processes.

In multiprocessor systems it shows 100 / number of processors. So an HT machine has 1 real processor and 1 virtual processor. Each processor is used 100%, but it shows as 50% usage when 1 is used, because half your processing speed is used. When you have 4 it shows 25% each, etc.

That is the normal way for it to work.
