Boinc manager shows project running, progress 0.00% ( was 20% I think) and a second WU ready to run, Norton shows CPU usage at around 30%. Is work actually being done? You should be able to see the timesteps passing by. If you cannot, try restarting (close the program from BOINC Manager with file/exit) and failing that reboot the computer. I thought maybe Norton might be scanning these files as they are written to disk. Are there two tasks in your Work tab of the BOINC GUI or just one? You might want to exclude the BOINC folder from on access and scheduled scanning by Norton. Others have had problems with this in the past. ID: 20437 · Reply Quote
