Hi, ok I may be Im stupid, often get that feeling before posting a question! Anyway I recon the sulphur cycle sais it will take 2054 hours to complete. So I think that even if my pute does nothing else then its going to strugle to finnish before the report deadline. Even more so because my pute isnt on all the time and is busy with other stuff. Is it worth me doing such a big project or am I missing something. Thanks in advance, milo. |

2054 is a fairly reasonable time - the \'deadline\' is only for the show in May, and the project continues on after that. There are some machines working on the project which will take a couple of years to complete the model. I'm a volunteer and my views are my own. News and Announcements and FAQ |

Mike was referring to the BBC program in May, which is associated with the BBC climateprediction project. Since you are attached here and running a sulphur model, don\'t be concerned about that. Not a stupid question, but a difficult one to answer. It\'s really up to you. The scientists have said that even just finishing the first phase (one fifth of the whole model) can be valuable in sulphur (of course they\'d like the whole thing better). So maybe just go that far, and see how it goes and if you want to continue after that. |
