Under the \"Work\" tab is the \"Status\" label. For the past few hours it has read \'Activities Suspended\'. I have tryed restarting the BOINC Manager and rebooting my PC. Nothing! I have even clicked the Suspend under Tasks and then Resume. Still nothing! Please help! Thanks in advance. |

I have 3 models: sulphur, spinup, and BBC. I\'m running spinup, so the other 2 are suspended for the moment. The status message for these 2 is: Suspended by user. As your message is different, I don\'t think that it\'s something that you did. Either you are actively running several climate models / projects in sequence, or something has gone wrong with the climate model. If it\'s not the first, then please copy and paste here, the last 10-20 lines from the Messages tab, so that we can look for a problem. |

It could be that you\'ve suspended the project under the \'Projects\' tab or all BOINC activity under the \'Commands\' menu. "The ultimate test of a moral society is the kind of world that it leaves to its children." - Dietrich Bonhoeffer |

Currently, I am only running the climate model (want to make sure I know what I am doing before getting more involved. I just restarted my project and these are the lines from the Message tab: 3/3/2006 12:21:03 PM||Starting BOINC client version 5.2.13 for windows_intelx86 3/3/2006 12:21:03 PM||libcurl/7.14.0 OpenSSL/0.9.8 zlib/1.2.3 3/3/2006 12:21:03 PM||Data directory: D:\\Program Files\\BOINC 3/3/2006 12:21:03 PM||Processor: 1 AuthenticAMD Mobile AMD Sempron(tm) Processor 3000+ 3/3/2006 12:21:03 PM||Memory: 479.36 MB physical, 1.10 GB virtual 3/3/2006 12:21:03 PM||Disk: 19.54 GB total, 9.99 GB free 3/3/2006 12:21:03 PM|climateprediction.net|Computer ID: 394641; location: ; project prefs: default 3/3/2006 12:21:03 PM||General prefs: from climateprediction.net (last modified 2006-03-02 19:39:10) 3/3/2006 12:21:03 PM||General prefs: using your defaults 3/3/2006 12:21:04 PM||Remote control not allowed; using loopback address 3/3/2006 12:22:19 PM||request_reschedule_cpus: project op Thanks! |

If you look in the project tab you should see the climateprojection project. Is there anything in the status column? In the left pane there should be buttons saying \'suspend\' and \'no new work\'. If they say \'resume\' or \'allow new work\' click on them (you may need to highlight the project first). If there is nothing there to suggest that activity is suspended, look in the commands menu (top of the Manager window). Try \'run always\' if not selected. Does it run now? |

Thanks! It is now running! I had to select \"run always\" as there was nothing under the \"suspend\" and \"no new work\". |
