I have recently decided to put a disused computer at home to work on CPDN. After installing the latest BOINC version I found that there was actually a CPDN WU on the comp that was accidentally downloaded last year (when I tried to finish a WU that repeatedly failed at 99.8% on this (work) PC.

So I started computation of that HADSM3 WU, and it has so far completed about 10%. From the message log I can see that it has sent a few trickles as well.

But I can\'t see these trickles, or the WU anywhere in my results log (http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/results.php?userid=17289). Any ideas?

You won\'t see anything until you get past the point at which you were last time.
The server will discard trickle data already received.
But you may see the occasional trickle, if it went missing the first time around.

This WU was actually never processed. It was just accidentally downloaded and was at 0%. So I thought why not process it now.

Due to congestion on the servers, the programs that run credits and results only run once or twice a day.

It has been running for about a week now - I will check tonight what the name of that WU is.

OK, I found it - WU 811953 = 3l9b_200189203_0. But it shows as running on the wrong computer, Host ID 30846 instead of 179686, where it is really running. But I don\'t think that\'s a problem.

You\'re correct, it isn\'t a problem. It looks like the system was upgraded at some point (from P4 2.26GHz to P4 3.0GHz) and you\'ve got host numbers that can\'t be merged.

From your posts I suspect that the model has started from the beginning again, so you\'ll have to wait until you get to timestep 216,040 before any of your trickles from the new host number are recorded.

No, it\'s two different computers, the slower one at my office, the newer once at home. And the WU has never run before.

I will see what will happen when this WU is finished (in about two weeks, I hope).
