The models I get always seem to crash when uploading Phase 1 of the model. That is, the model runs fine until trickle #24, then all of a sudden, crashes. This has happened 3 times now (on OS10.3.9 and two versions of 10.4; also, both in the Slab model and Sulpher model). Is this just me, or is it a common problem? For the project, is this data useful? It would be a shame if all that CPU time were a waste, \'cause it could be allocated to other projects. After each crash, I\'ve checked back here and fixed whatever is written in the posts, as is with my current model: the problem is, I\'m running multiple projects on relatively slow computers, so I won\'t know if the current models I\'m running will behave the same until at least a month later. Help, anyone? |

Some faulty data sets were issued last December, which crashed at the start of phase 2. Phase 1 end-of-phase data for sulphur models is very important to the researchers. Your model sulphur_glur_000774819_0 was issued then, and, as you can see from this model\'s page, the phase 1 graphs are on the server, so it did all it could. The same for sulphur_gmay_000775402_0. As for the others, that\'s another matter. I\'m not a Mac user, so I can\'t comment further. |

Thank you for your quick response. It\'s good to know that the data is useful! Anyway, I\'ll stay attached to the project and see what happens to the models that my PC receives in the future... |

Towards the end of last year there was a batch of Sulphur models that failed very early in the second phase. We have been assured that the phase 1 result file is still useful to the scientists. Your 2 most recent failures were definitely from that batch. Your other failures seem to be related to the required Mac application library not being installed.
