Thread 'save work unit don\'t finish, when reinstall Windows?'

Make a backup of the directory, reinstall windows, reinstall Boinc (but don\'t attach), then copy the backup over the boinc directory. Just to clarify there is no need to attach with the new installation. Note that if you copy the BOINC directory to a CD/DVD for backup, without zipping it up first, you will need to change write permissions after copying it back to the hard drive.
