Just a bit puzzled as when a 4.23 model crashed on Fedora4 it was replaced by what appears to be BBC Climate project.
I thought that it needed special BOINC software to run it?
It seems to be running OK if very very slow.
It also seems that the command line doesn\'t display any more and you need use the graphics in BOINC. Is this all correct? Will the project run correctly or do I need to download a special BBC Program?
The model is hadcm3lb 5.08 the Boinc platform 5.3.23

Surprise! :)

The special version of BOINC was just to make things easier for Joe Public.
Except that it didn\'t work. :(

The TCMs are now available here, (from last Monday/Tuesday), but still contain some BBC logos, etc.
Carl has said that he didn\'t want to risk fiddling with them yet to remove the BBC stuff.
They will be randomly allocated, with sulphur as the other possiblity.

BOINC 5.3.23 is still a test version, so you\'re on your own a bit there.
It SHOULD run OK on 5.2.13.

Glad you got it :)
It prints out on every checkpoint = 6 model days when running with ./boinc.
Trickle-ups is by every model year or 25,920 TS and worth 227 points
Every 10 model years there is a bigger upload of about 5 MB.
Here it\'s a little bit slower on s/TS than the old slab model but much faster than the sulphur.
