I am trying to set the BOINC default connection so that I do not keep getting the message that BOINC is unable to access the Internet. I select : Advanced / Options / Connections / and then Set Default to choose the (only) connection shown in the window. (Which is my usual Internet connection). This appears to succeed (i.e. the \'new\' default connection is shown under the window. However, the next time I check this default setting has disappeared. |

Have you got a \'LAN\' option in the list? Sorry I do not really understand what you mean. If I select \'Connections\'then the only connection appearing in the box is my usual ADSL connection (DialUp). If I click on this and then on Set Default then \"Default connection: DialUp\" appears under the box. However, the next time I open this dialog this default setting has disappeared. |
