After running successfully for 18 months I\'m suddenly getting the message \"Unrecoverable error for result hadcm3lb_50cf_05021707_0 (The system cannot find the file specified. (0x2) - exit code 2 (0x2))\" After a 24 hour wait there is a further download but the same error occurs.

Is there anything I can do to stop these errors?

I have Boinc version 4.19 running on Windows XP Home.

I\'d suggest upgrading to the new BOINC. 4.19 is a bit old now, and not really suitable for the new models.
In fact, 4.19 is so old, that you\'ll have to use Windows uninstall to remove it first.

That sounds like it might be an anti virus false positive removing or quarantining a file Mike. From your result list it looks like the problem started at 2030 on 15th March.

Thanks for the responses. I took your advice, uninstalled the old Boinc and downloaded the new version.

It didn\'t work immediately as it said there wasn\'t enough disk space, although I hadn\'t changed my preferences. I increased the allowed disk space to 50GB and now it\'s working.
