After running successfully for 18 months I\'m suddenly getting the message \"Unrecoverable error for result hadcm3lb_50cf_05021707_0 (The system cannot find the file specified. (0x2) - exit code 2 (0x2))\" After a 24 hour wait there is a further download but the same error occurs. Is there anything I can do to stop these errors? I have Boinc version 4.19 running on Windows XP Home. Mike |

I\'d suggest upgrading to the new BOINC. 4.19 is a bit old now, and not really suitable for the new models. In fact, 4.19 is so old, that you\'ll have to use Windows uninstall to remove it first. |

That sounds like it might be an anti virus false positive removing or quarantining a file Mike. From your result list it looks like the problem started at 2030 on 15th March. "The ultimate test of a moral society is the kind of world that it leaves to its children." - Dietrich Bonhoeffer |

I\'d suggest upgrading to the new BOINC. 4.19 is a bit old now, and not really suitable for the new models. Thanks for the responses. I took your advice, uninstalled the old Boinc and downloaded the new version. It didn\'t work immediately as it said there wasn\'t enough disk space, although I hadn\'t changed my preferences. I increased the allowed disk space to 50GB and now it\'s working. Thanks again. Mike |
