I\'m running BOINC 5.2.13 on SuSE 9.1 on a 3.2Ghz HT. Projects are CPDN (200), SETI (100) & Einstein (100). Prior to this version of BOINC, this mix of projects kept CPDN running all the time and the other two trading time. With the upgrade to 5.2.13 and a fresh HADCM3 model, whenever SETI or Einstein download workunits, the overcommitted message comes up, CPDN is suspended and both running processes switch to that other project until all its WU are exhausted. CPDN is then allowed to run again until something else downloads and the cycle starts again. I have not seen anything like this on the boards. Is anyone else seeing anything similar? |

Prior to your upgrade, you were probably also running slab / sulphur. The new Coupled Ocean model is a lot longer, so it will be more prone to trigger panic mode. |
