I have been running Climate for over 800 hours with four other projects. Restarted my computer and only the Sulpur project disappeared. I checked in the file explore and those files are still in the boinc/ projects / climateprediction.net folder. Can this project be re-attached? Many times I have had trouble with connection with localhost. But its not that this time. Thanks Fred. Sii.fred@verizon.net SIIFRED |

If it was the model which you started: 5 Jan 2006, on a Pentium mobile, no. It crashed with: exit code 1073807364 This has been hard to pin down, but is a graphics problem. Some people have fixed it with an update to the driver of their graphis card, from the card maker\'s web site. The only way to recover crashed models is from a backup of the BOINC folder made before the crash. |

It didn\'t crash, it just got separated from the boinc monitor some how. I did not see any crash or errors codes. I was running einstein project at the same time (dual cpu), although I was having problems with einstein all over the place. When I re-booted by computer it just disappeared. Einstein and Rosetta are the projects that I keep losing because if the whole unit does not finish, it shows computation error and loses that unit. But I never had this program before. It appears to have all climateprediction folder and files intact. I just hate to lost 800 hours, my other computer is half way too. That computer can only run one project at a time. Thanks in advance. Fred SIIFRED |
