Yesterday, I attached my work computer to Climate prediction. This and my home machine have both been successfully running Seti and Rosetta for months.

This morning I attempted to attach my home computer to climate prediction. I used \"existing account\" and an account key that Climate prediction emailed me on demand this morning. The message is \"account not found\" if I include my email address, and \"failed to attach\" if I leave the email field blank.

Not sure, but this could be a Firewall issue. Do boinc.exe and boincmgr.exe have access to port 80? Does \'attached to localhost\' show in right side of the Task bar?

I don\'t know anything about port 80, but Rosetta and SETI are running fine on this machine, showing messages as recent as a few minutes ago. And \'attached to local host\' is displayed as you indicate.

I think you may have 2 accounts:

Yesterday, I attached my work computer to Climate prediction.

So you must have had an account key yesterday.

This morning I attempted to attach my home computer to climate prediction. I used \"existing account\" and an account key that Climate prediction emailed me on demand this morning.

Which would be a new account key. What account was this for:
Yesterdays or Todays?

Have you set up a password on \'yesterdays\' account, and then used this password in todays attempt?

The account key was from the account that I set up Friday. I signed onto the web site, and viewed my account. It sent me the account key when I requested it.

I did not set up a password other than the account key.

Do I need a password in order to add the second computer? The dialogs imply that I can make the connection to the existing account with the account key.
