why does model run, then messege is \"pre-empted?\" model stops.

It looks like a lot of your models are crashing, I can\'t see why, but taking a look at the topmost \'sticky\' in this forum may give you a starting point.

Could you take a look at the \'messages\' tab in the manager, and cut-and-paste it\'s contents onto this thread?

First off preempted means paused. It\'s a word used because it translates better to other languages. When your machine switches projects (one project per processor runs at a time), or if you have it pausing while your machine is in use, you will see this prempted message.

Second, you need to change to \"keep in memory when preempted\" on your account. Climate can have problems if this is not set.
