I\'m running Boinc on kubuntu breezy downloaded from the appropriate pkg-boinc.alioth.debian.org repo and I just must have missed something somewhere cause i can\'t for the life of me figure out how to set preferences. The boinc manager seems to suggest that i need to do it on this site, and as i read this site it seems to suggest i have to do it on my computer. The lack of any easily findable answer suggests to me that i missed something very obvious somewhere, but where?

Basically i am running this on an old machiene and it can\'t take the stress of boinc and me using it at the same time, so i would like boinc to only work while i\'m not around.

paz y amor,
-rjs.

Preferences are set on your Account page on this site. Use the link to the left of here in the blue menu.
Once you have altered your prefs here, you THEN go to your BOINC software and do an Update.

However, your computer is too slow to finish in a reasonable time, and it doesn\'t have enough memory for the climate software.
Perhaps you could try one of the other DC projects, which all have far less demanding requirements.
