I have started to get the following messages when my CPDN client tries to connect to the project. I get the same on both machines running CPDN.

Anyone know what this mean?

This did not help.
Running strace on cpdn_fix_xml_linux shows that it is tries to open the following files.

munmap(0x55556000, 172890) = 0
access(\"account_climateprediction.net.xml\", F_OK) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory)
access(\"account_climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk_cpdnboinc.xml\", F_OK) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory)
access(\"account_www.climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk_cpdnboinc.xml\", F_OK) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory)
access(\"account_www.climateprediction.net.xml\", F_OK) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory)
exit_group(0) = ?

None of thes is found in my installation.
The closest I come is a file called account_www.climateprediction.net..xml

It has the following content:
<account>
<master_url>http://www.climateprediction.net./</master_url>
<authenticator>xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx</authenticator>
<project_name>climateprediction.net</project_name>
<project_preferences>

Well, the file account_www.climateprediction.net..xml shouldn\'t have 2 dots: it should be account_www.climateprediction.net.xml
Perhaps you can try to rename it and run the little program again.

I have the following URL in several files
http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc_cgi/cgi

Do you know what the correct URL is?

The correct URL is climateprediction.net

From your posts it looks like you\'re attached to \"www.climateprediction.net.\", which isn\'t an alternative URL that the program caters for. If you send me a PM (same user name) on the phpBB forum with your email address I\'ll send you a modified version.

Thanks, but I just detached and reattached to the project and this solved my problem, but killed my 30% finished work units on both machines running CPDN
