I received a message on 22/05/06 suggesting that I should download a new BOINC manager. I did this and the model reverted to 01/01/20 ---1100hrs of computing seemingly lost? There was a trickle up this afternoon (2 years into the new run) and I see from the screensaver that there is only one registered user --- which I presume is me? Can this be true? When the old model was running, I seem to remember there were in excess of 170000 registered users!

It looks like you joined with the BBC CCE version. This version puts the files in a different location than the standard version of BOINC. I would suggest uninstalling the BBC version and copying the files left from the BBC version to the location of the standard version and reinstalling the new version.
