I\'d recently detached and reattached the climate prediction project from/to my boinc software. Had to do with the attachment of the bam account manager for boinc. When I tried to reattach the project and my computer started to download the various files, my internet connection would go down. I\'m behind a firewall here at work, and i have other computers here churning away at this project. Only a problem with my pc. I do have a firewall, but have had no problem until this incident with any of the boinc projects. Do you have any other reports of this? Seems as if it\'s only on the initial downlaod of the project, as my other clients are sending trickle ups with no problem. At least so far. |

Did they make changes to your connection at work, like a bandwidth limiter, or something that may have thought a virus was coming down, because of the large download of many files? There are a lot of things a company may install that could make this happen. |

There are a lot of things a company may install that could make this happen. No recent changes, which is what struck me as odd. I\'m the person who put that in place in any event. seems weird. The files start to download but hang up, and actually try to download more megs than the download says the file is. Like I said, it seems weird. |
