Hello There, recently I discovered this Visual Fortran error messages poping up on my desktop. (sorry for the bad quality) and at the same time there was this entry in the log: 12.06.2006 03:12:58|climateprediction.net|Result hadcm3lbm_c3to_05334095_1 exited with zero status but no \'finished\' file I tried a reset of the project, but no change. The boinc client runs on a Windows 2003 Server 512MB Ram. 1,8 Mhz P4 Processor. Thanks for you help Jens |

Hi Jens, The two messages are unrelated - the \'zero status exit\' is fairly harmless, and is often caused by the Windows Time Sync being performed every few hours. the other is more serious, and could be due to problems on your disk drive. Take a look at the topmost post in this forum for more information on both of them. If you look at your completed results, you\'ll see quite a lot failed with assorted problems: http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/results.php?hostid=147579 Hopefully the suggestions in the post mentioned above will help you resolve them. Hi Mike, I checked the items mentioned in the post you linked. But none of them solved my problem. Then I updated the Boinc client software to the most recent version, but I still got this popups. After reducing the workload on the climateprediction project the popups appeared more often. So I decided to remove my second project running on this computer (which was einstein@home) and since then no more popups. |
