I\'m just translating a question arisen from other spanish user that is much more skillful than me on computers...

He noticed than in the CPDN-BBC experiment his computer was sending data packages of 4 Mbytes, every decade of simulation and a package of 7-8 Mbytes on the year 2000. He wants to known how important are these data packages and why the new version of Boinc (v 5.4.9) does not send the packages. Should he uninstall Boinc v 5.4.9 and return to the Boinc version available in the BBC web page?

Thanks

M.A.

As far as I know the 5.4.9 version does send them (at least, my copy does!).

Have there been warnings about \'incorrect URL for project\' or anything like that? This could cause a problem like this.

Getting a copy of the \'messages\' tab would be very useful, preferably including a decadal upload.
