I started to get this error message on ALL my clients I have running this project: \"You are using the wrong URL for this project\". I read to detach from the project and re-attach. I did on one client. The project I was working on disappeared. ?? Why am I getting this error now after months of running? Before I do the same to the other clients, is there a way not to loose the model that is in process? These models take a while and I really would like to finish one some day |

Did you upgrade the machines to 5.4.9? The URL you need is \'http://climateprediction.net\' rather than www.climateprediction.net or one of the other variants. Thyme Lawn wrote a programme to modify the configuration files to fix the URL problem without having to detach. http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/forum_thread.php?id=4582 I'm a volunteer and my views are my own. The fix didn\'t work. I used it on two clients. Now when the program starts I get: Project for statistics file statistics_climateprediction.net.xml not found - ignoring And I still get: climateprediction.net|You are using the wrong URL for this project climateprediction.net|The correct URL is http://climateprediction.net/ I tried digging and manually changing the URL in some of the files but I got that all screwed up (thank goodness for backups). Which files need to be edited to manually change the URL? Thanks |

See if you can get hold of Thyme Lawn for advice, he\'s the expert (PM via the main message board would be the best bet). I'm a volunteer and my views are my own. News and Announcements and FAQ |
