Just upgraded to the new boinc manager a few days ago. Nothing seemed out of place till now. While resuming network activities (dialup user :(), cpdn usually does it\'s trickles.. I get these lines: 7/23/2006 6:08:23 AM|climateprediction.net|Sending scheduler request to http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc_cgi/cgi 7/23/2006 6:08:23 AM|climateprediction.net|Reason: To send trickle-up message 7/23/2006 6:08:23 AM|climateprediction.net|(not requesting new work or reporting completed tasks) ... ... ... 7/23/2006 6:10:02 AM|climateprediction.net|Scheduler request succeeded 7/23/2006 6:10:02 AM|climateprediction.net|You are using the wrong URL for this project 7/23/2006 6:10:02 AM|climateprediction.net|The correct URL is http://climateprediction.net/ 7/23/2006 6:10:02 AM|climateprediction.net|Using the wrong URL can cause problems in some cases. 7/23/2006 6:10:02 AM|climateprediction.net|When convenient, detach this project, then reattach to http://climateprediction.net/ I haven\'t changed anything after the upgrade, don\'t know why its asking for another url. Which is correct now, the old url or new one? And the deal with detach/reattach, will I loose my WU%? Lucid |

The new version of Boinc is much more fussy about the project URL. Detaching and reattaching would indeed kill your models. There are a couple of possibilities; * Downgrade to 5.2.13, which isn\'t much different to 5.4.9 if truth be told. * Take a backup, then run Thyme Lawn\'s utility to alter the URLs. This utility is mentioned elsewhere in this forum. There is a chance that it may corrupt the files, which is why I recommend the backup first. I'm a volunteer and my views are my own.
