Hi, Not sure if this is the correct forum for this problem. I\'m trying to get my Account Key emailed to me. I put in my accounts correct email address and submit it to send my key to me. I never receive the key via email. I\'ve asked my email hosting company to make sure they are not blocking http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/ and they assure me that they are not and that it must be a routing issue. My email is hosted at surpasshosting. I did a test and changed my CPDN email address in my account page to one of my sbcglobal.net emails and sure enough, the account key was received within seconds. How can I determine what route my account key is being mailed to when I use my normal email address? That domain is bellerive.net I did switch email hosts about 3 weeks ago so I\'m wondering if the oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/ may still be routing to the incorrect address? This is what I need to find out. Can anyone help or get me in touch with someone that can check this info for me?? Surpasshosting claims that it is a routing issue but I suspect other problems. I can\'t help you with the email issue, but you don\'t actually need the account key any more if you use Boinc 5.x - you should be able to attach with just the email address and password? If you\'re getting the account key when using your spare email address then I don\'t think there\'s much that Oxford can do about it (the emails are probably stuck somewhere en-route). You should be asking the email hosting company whether they\'re blocking any of the IPs in the \'received\' chain (you\'d need to send them the headers in the sbcglobal.net email you did receive). I can\'t help you with the email issue, but you don\'t actually need the account key any more if you use Boinc 5.x - you should be able to attach with just the email address and password? Yes, I do use my email/password now to logon. I think I will try your advice and send the full headers from a succesfull email to the sbcglobal.net addy and forward that info to surpasshosting. I was hoping someone at Oxford could run a traceroute or similar on my bellerive.net domain from the mail server and let me know what the result shows. The problem has been resolved! It was a problem on Surpass\'s end and something to do with a config file in exim. They promptly fixed the issue and a ton of stuck messages from Oxford bagan flowing into my Inbox! |
