Welcome to the Boards, Guzzi. It could be done but would use the little drive in a way not intended. (I think it would be easier in Linux than Windoze, thanks to the Windoze Registry.) In additioon to being CPU intensive, CPDN also does a job on the hard drive, though it now has a bit lighter touch than in \"Slab\" days -- relatively speaking. It would probably be painfully slow. If it were me, I\'d give each machine its own work -- assuming each runs several hours, at least -- daily. Also flash drives have limited writes. So, if you hit that limit, you would lose data. That would be nasty if you were working on a coupled model getting to a point and then it fails, because it no longer can write. Months of work, dead. |
