Hello i have one question. Im computing two projects CPDN and QMC. I want one core do only CPDN all the time and second core do the rest (now only QMC but in future maybe something more). What to do? Its this possible?? |

The way I would do this is load CPDN first, and only tell it you have 1 processor, once it downloads the single unit, tell it to not get any more work. Then change it to 2 processor, connect QMC, and then this is how it will work until CPDN file ends. Although there may be times that you do two QMC at the same time, and CPDN will be paused. This may be fixed in the next version of BOINC (there is a new scheduler built in it), but because of the debt system, sometimes you will be doing two of QMC. No way to avoid that. |

Nobody is sure. It\'s been \"soon\" for a while, if you go to the BOINC download page, and look at all versions, there is a newer one there supposedly with a better scheduler. It does warn that it could be unstable. |
