why is my deadline set for friday the 13th december 1901?

Because the cmos battery in the computer went flat.
This battery is used to store a small amount of info in ram for when the computer is turned off, and when it went flat, the date reverted to the default of 1901.

BOINC stores this date some where, so you\'re now stuck with it.

I notice that your computer hasn\'t returned any data since July, and that the sulphur model that you were working on hasn\'t returned ANY trickles.

Two things that you should be aware of:
1) The sulphur models were a short term thing to get starting values for the Coupled Ocean models.
These new models started in February, and more sulphur models aren\'t really needed, especially if they have yet to provide data.

2) The Coupled Ocean models are not available for the Mac, as noted in this thread.
