After creating your account you will want to go to \"General Preferences\" and make sure you have appropriate amounts of disk space etc for CPDN. Remember that each workunit is 600MB total (with about 230MB used after a workunit is finished; the final upload is only 5MB total).

You can most likely just use the suggested default preferences, but you must click on \"Update\" to save these to your account:

This is more of a problem if you signed up for one of the other BOINC clients first. Those all have lesser disk requirements than CPDN, so if you sign up there your defaults will be too small for CPDN, and you need to make sure to bump them up.

I found that the stting are now in GB instead of MB, so when I first started my minimum HDD size was 6,000GB which is way different from 6,000MB.
The program kept crashing due to insuficient HDD size when a download would start. I reduced it to 6 and all runs fine now.
