This is my second model - the first died in 1960 with a \"buffer overflow\". It is running very slowly compared to the first and I get a black screen or a black and white \"skeleton\" when I request the graphics display. Is my model doomed? |

Hello, and welcome to the CPDN forum! I also see that \"skeleton\" graphic all of a sudden. Don\'t know what it means, but I don\'t worry about it. Regarding crashed models; I also had several in the past - some crashing very near completion of the model. It helps a great deal if you do regular backups of your model; in many cases you can restore, and just continue from the point of the crash. Not always, though, some models simply cannot get past a certain failure point. I do a backup about once a week. The important thing is that computation of the model and BOINC are not running, then simply backup the entire Program Files\\BOINC folder. In the past I used WinZip for this, now I use Acronis True Image. But the Windows Backup program will do nicely. |

P.S. Found that when using the commands (S, T, R, P, C, etc) I can see the graphics. Don\'t know why - previous models automatically rotated and showed one of the layouts. No problem, anyway... |
