Norton antivirus has traced a tracking cookie on my PC. webtrendslive.com edge.ru4.com Can someone confirm whether these are related to the climate prediction software or not? I am inclined to delete them as a security risk but do not want to stop the model running. |

Not ours. The only ones here are those that remember your password so that you can log in again, and will include climateprediction in it\'s name. |

Something like webtrendslive.com would be what publishers link to banner ads so they can see whose seen their adverts. I turn off 3rdparty cookies in my firewall (some websites don\'t work as a result, such as eBay). I'm a volunteer and my views are my own. News and Announcements and FAQ |

Greg, I\'m surprised you\'ve only found one or two. If you download Adaware, which is free, you can safely delete all the tracking cookies it finds. Adaware and Spybot find stuff that my Norton AV doesn\'t even seem to look for. Adaware doesn\'t throw up ordinary cookies, only the tracking cookies which are the ones we don\'t want. Cpdn news |
