My computer has finished the climateprediction.net workunit. So, a new workunit is requested. However, I get a message that I don\'t have enough space left to receive a new workunit. That is very likely, as the old workunit is still present in the climateprediction folder, needlessly taking up space. Therefore I(and others) don\'t get a new workunit because the climateprediction-program doesn\'t clean up. Please update the procedure/program to clean up the climateprediction.net-folder when a workunit has been finished. |

Since your computers have never finished a unit, they do not clean up. If you truly finish a unit it will clean itself. This is a precaution to prevent people from crashing hundreds of units. You are using a Vista Beta. Vista has known issues with BOINC, if installed in the Program Files folder. It looks like you are having these problems. Reinstall in it\'s own folder, and it should work better, instead of crashing, after a reboot. |

You can manually delete the remnants of models you\'re no longer running. For the error codes you\'ve been getting, I\'d suggest a look at the READMEs here http://www.climateprediction.net/board/viewforum.php?f=36&sid=8eb1ccf67a1379b687c536264bc16c94 In Running the model, the top tips. In the Crashes README, items #5 and #6. Plus item #1 about how to make backups so that if you do have another model crash, you can restore the backup and continue with the same model. Cpdn news |
